Origin-1 is not a government, a charity, or a traditional NGO. We are a non-state transnational NGO for civil peacekeeping, born from the conviction that lasting peace requires a new kind of action. We are working towards a future secured by a foundational treaty, much like respected global organizations such as the Red Cross.

Our founder and Chief Arbiter, Adam J. Letourneau, recognized that many existing organizations are bound by bureaucratic limitations and political agendas, unable to respond with the speed and flexibility that modern conflicts demand. Stepping away from that system, Adam chose a new path—and a new name—for this mission. "Origin-1" represents the origin of a singular, grassroots movement dedicated to a new model of peacekeeping. By operating outside of traditional state structures, we are free to act with courage and without compromise. Adam's name for this journey signals that our work is defined by the future we are building, not by the politics of the past.

Our mission is to lead a global movement for peace by intervening in a new way: through independent civil action. We do not seek to wage war or to govern nations. Instead, we aim to be a non-state force that mobilizes citizens across borders, influences international policy, and directly mediates in conflicts to foster stability.

My name is Adam J. Letourneau. My life's work, from public service to my passion for international peace, has been a testament to the belief that true security is not just the absence of conflict—it is an act of creation. It's built, brick by brick, by people coming together with a shared purpose. A powerful, life-changing event gave me a new perspective and deepened my resolve. I saw firsthand how our current systems fall short and was motivated to help build something new—a way to create justice from the ground up.

This is why I founded Origin-1. It is the culmination of a life dedicated to service and a career spent at the highest levels of public and private security, and national and international affairs. With decades of experience, I have seen conflict from every angle and gained a profound understanding of why traditional solutions often fail. This has given me a clear vision for an alternative—a new way to build peace that is both effective and just.

Origin-1 is a new kind of transnational NGO designed to transcend borders and bureaucracy. We are a platform where civilians, not soldiers, are the first responders. We are the architects of a new kind of security, one where peace is not a passive ideal, but a tangible, strategic objective.
